THE DECADAL VISION

VISION STATEMENT :
                                    To Reach North India with the Good News of Jesus Christ (In words and Action), So that every person gets an oppurtunity to hear and respond  to the Gospel.                                             

GOALS FOR THE CURRENT DECADE :
         Should our Lord tarry, the Church would aim

1. Establishing of 20 Mother Churches and 200 Cell Churches in Delhi through regular outreaches among the un-reached people groups   and  individuals living in slums and other un-reached areas where no Church is established. 
2. Establish another 50 mother Churches with 500 Cell Churches in other parts of North India where there is no Church, no Christians and the challenge is great. 
3. Establish a Discipleship Training Center with strong emphasis on Missions to cater to the needs of North India.
4. Training school for grass-root evangelists and Church planters in their own vernacular language
5. Assist the needy and orphaned children of the slums and villages through Sponsorship, health care, promoting education and hostel program. 
6. Encourage and increase the participation of neo-literate in continuing education and to provide adult literacy and thereby instilling moral and ethical standards. 
7. To improve the overall community health through provisions and teaching better Standards of health, sanitation, AIDS awareness and prevention etc., 
8. To improve the economic conditions through encouraging cooperatives and self Help program for alleviation of poverty; promote vocational training and self Employment among the unemployed and women.
9. To rehabilitate the handicaps living in the slums and villages of North India through scientific and economically viable rehab and vocational training program.
10. Integrate the people into the mainstream of country's socio-cultural life whereby the progress and prosperity of the country

Future Challenges :

The Philadelphia Church looks forward to the coming of our Lord Jesus and aims at keeping herself spotless for Him. If our Lord tarries, the Church would aim at planting Churches in all the places where there is no Church and especially in each of the 6000 slums of Delhi and other metros and cities in North India. Wherever necessary, this will be done in partnership with other like minded churches and mission agencies . Our Vision statement best describes the challenges we aim to accept and Goals we have set.

The Location :

The 10-40 WINDOW focuses on a region between 10 and 40 degree N-latitude. It includes most of the world's populous and poor countries - from Africa to Asia - the heartland of Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam. India lies within the 10-40 window - an un-reached area with almost one billion people.

The Organization :

The FULL GOSPEL TRUST OF INDIA is a little known group, working quietly and earnestly to proclaim the Gospel of Christ to the people in India and outside. Located in the capital Delhi, the FGT is strategically positioned to reach out to this needy expanse of humanity.

The Vision :

The vision of FGT is to proclaim the Gospel to the unreached, especially where there is no Christian presence.

The Methodology : 

• PARTNERING with like minded churches and mission agencies to reach out to North India. 
• TRAINING native missionaries, who will go and reach out to their own. 
• SERVING the poor and needy through Sustainable Community Development Emergency Relief. 
• REHABILITATION of the Handicapped and Leadership Development.
